The best part of the day had to be when we all sat around a small dining room and watched the lead actor noisily eat sea food soup. It was fucking hilarious, they needed wild sound to loop over later in post and it was just surreal. I couldn't stop laughing thinking about the oddness of me, in Stockholm, watching a man eat bouillabaisse for a Swedish film while all around me everyone shared in the commonality of humor. Loud slurping sounds kill in any language. Sweet, world comedy tour starts now!
Hey, Heinz ketchup in Stockholm tastes nothing like it does in the States. It's approximately 5 million times sweeter and tastes vaguely of barbecue sauce. Odd what you notice. Also, one of the Hannibal Lechter films is playing at a slightly higher pitch than the original such that Anthony Hopkins' Lechter now sounds like Truman Capote. Or at least what every actor makes Capote sound like these days. Fascinating, right?

Saw Crille at Panavision Hollywood today......strange how you were just talking about him
when are you coming home?
(don't take it personally, i asked your dad the same thing)
at least you're not an ac who has to run around a suspended/swinging merri-go-round, pulling focus on the kids that are riding the evil machine, ducking, swooping, and swerving, trying to avoid being smacked in the side of the head by the small and frozen tire (read: cold cement block) that made it's revolution every 4 seconds. poor dude, he got hit every damn take.
